Two-component zinc-filled epoxy primer for priming and protecting steel surfaces in industrial and marine environments, steel structures of bridges, piers, tanks and pipelines of the oil and gas industry, etc.
A two-component epoxy zinc-filled primer with a high zinc content, which includes high-quality zinc flakes, spherical zinc and zinc powder. Zinc flakes, floating to the surface during the formation of the coating, make it difficult for water and other aggressive components to pass through to the protected metal, spherical zinc and zinc powder securely fill the gaps, forming reliable anti-corrosion protection with a powerful galvanic effect.
It is delivered in sets: primer basis and hardener.
2K EP-0111TS Epoxy Primer is used as the first priming layer in painting systems under conditions of marine or wet industrial environment in cases where long-term anti-corrosion protection of steel surfaces for various purposes is necessary: transport facilities, steel tanks, pipelines, sea and river vessels, waterworks, steel structures for various purposes, including those operated in aggressive environments, sea water, marine climate, immersed in the ground, in industries with an aggressive environment.

Instruction for use
Conditions of applying Temperature of air, the painted surface and primer shouldn't be lower than +5ºС.
Temperature of a surface should be at least 3ºС higher than an air dew point.
Surface preparation The surface should be clean and dry.
Steel. Blasting to a degree not less than Sa 2½ according to ISO 8501-1.2007.
Method of application Before application, carefully mix the primer throughout the container.
Apply with airless spraying, with a brush or roller in limited access areas.
Airless spraying:

Tools cleaning Upon work completion, the painting equipment and tools should be washed out with a recommended solvent.

Occupational & industrial safety Before application it is necessary to study attentively the text and precautionary designations on factory labels.
Use in well-ventilated rooms. Do not inhale dust. Avoid contacts with skin.
In case of skin and eye exposure, immediately rinse with water and see a doctor.
Storage The primer should be stored and transported at a temperature not less than minus 10ºС and not higher than plus 30ºС.
The primer should be stored in the dry, cool, well-ventilated room, away from heat sources.
Package containing the primer and the hardener should be tightly closed.
